Our painted floating shelves are totally customisable. Whether you want a shelf that blends in seamlessly with your wall colour or an accent shelf to showcase your pictures, our paintable floating shelf give you the flexibility and control to personalise your space.
We use moisture resistant MDF for the paintable floating shelves which allows your paint of choice to apply smoothly. The front of the shelf is coated in a white PVC protective barrier which prevents dents and scratches and ensures a professional finish when you apply your paint of choice. Unlike lower quality, hollow alternatives, our floating shelves can be sanded down meaning that they can be used in older houses with uneven walls or in alcoves.
Veneered Wood Floating Shelves
If you’re looking to create a classic look with your floating shelves, our veneered wood option allows you to add depth to your interiors whilst giving you a timeless finish. We offer you a choice between a real wood veneer of a light, warm oak shade or a cooler tone walnut to compliment your colour schemes. Both shades are available in our standard raw wood finish, a high gloss finish or a matte lacquered finish. Unlike heavy and expensive solid wood shelves that are easily tarnished, our veneered wooden shelves are more practical as we remove excess MDF from the centre to make them lighter and less damaging to your walls. You get the visual effect of real wood with added protection from the veneer and at a better price.
Melamine Faced Floating Shelves
For the trend conscious, we offer five modern matte shades of floating shelves. These floating shelves are made from chipboard making them extremely light weight. Your shelves are then coated in a scratch resistant melamine making them hard wearing which is perfect if you want to play around styling them. All edges of the shelves are coated with a matching edge which gives a crisp look. Choose between bright white, light grey, dust grey, onyx grey or true black. Our melamine shelves are perfect for you If you want to create a neutral, clean aesthetic in your home.
